P-P-P-Poppy

One of the therapists at Lydie's assessment last week said that we should soon hear her using the "p" and "m" consonant sounds in her babbling. So, being the overachiever that I am, I have been repeating those consonant sounds to that baby girl until she probably thinks I don't know how to say anything else.

Surely she'll say "mama" one of these days.

I'm betting, however, that "Poppy" will most certainly come first because those two are like peas and carrots. You've never seen anything like it. I promise.

And, I suppose I'm okay with it. After all, we're all pretty fond of Poppy around here.
