Lydie's New Toy

All of the parenting books and all of the experts and all of the pediatricians in the world have said not to put your child in a walker. They've said walkers delay walking skills more than they help. They've said walkers are dangerous. They've said all sorts of things to keep parents from buying walkers.

Well, I'm on a mission to get my girl to use her legs, and I think a walker might help. So, Lydie is the proud new owner of a cute little walker.

And, she really likes it!

Although, she hasn't yet made it go anywhere...

Both of my kids LOVED the walker. I started putting them in it when they were just two months old, with a blanket behind them for support, and both were still in it until they became real walkers. Since I had one early walker and one late walker, the jury is still out on if it helps or hurts...I guess Caboose will be my tie breaker! :-)

Connor LOVES his walker too. Addison did as well. I think Addie was a late walker because of her ears (but not sure is 13 months is exactly a late walker or not...) I think me putting Connor in it so much might be messing up his crawling status, but, rest assured he can move that walker throughout the house.

I am sure that it will help her out--and if not, she'll sure have fun paying in it! And it is super cute!
