The drizzle this morning wore off quickly enough that we were still able to celebrate our friend, Kaitlyn's, second birthday at Landa Park in New Braunfels. We absolutely love that park, and we enjoyed a nice, breezy day with several of our dear friends. You just couldn't ask for more!
We broke out the Ty backpack/leash today. He seemed to think that he should carry the tail/leash, so Danny had to improvise to keep him out of traffic.
The City of New Braunfels was having an Earth Day celebration at the park, and Ty was fascinated with the big, green recycling truck.
Look what lucky boy got to ride a train two days in a row!!

Kaitlyn was excited about feeding the ducks.
Ty could have cared less about the ducks. He just wanted to wander up and down the river bank.
A red-faced, worn-out little guy who talked and sang all the way home and then took a nice nap. NOTE: His face was flush from all the roaming he did (not a sunburn); he was back to normal once he'd cooled off.

What a fun day! Ty really gets to do a lot of special things. I loved seeing George in his back pack.
