Getting Old

It's official. I am getting old.

I just pulled a gray hair out of my head.

There are more, but I couldn't single them out to pull them out.

I might be a regular with the hair dye before too long.

This is not fun.

Welcome to the world of hair color...I've never seen a gray hair in my hair, but then again, I color my hair regularly--it may cost an arm and a leg, but I never worry about grays!

: )

It must be pregnancy and/or motherhood because I discovered gray hair a month or so after I had Rody...and I just colored mine last night. I recommend L'oreal...a good product!

I had to chuckle at this post. As I was getting my haircut a few weeks ago, my hairdresser commented on how she couldn't believe how many gray hairs I had all of a sudden. I was shocked since I wasn't aware that I had any!!!

Guess I'll be joining the Color Club as soon as I get the time (and the money).

Thanks for the post. Misery loves company!!!

Just remember that your dad was prematurely gray. My side of the family doesn't get gray until pretty old. Even Grandmother just has gray around her face and no where else. Your Great-Grandmother Colbert was not gray when she died in her seventies. Granddaddy didn't get gray until his sixties. You get it from your dad.
I think you're beautiful no matter what color your hair is.

Get back to me about this in about, oh, I don't know, twenty years?

Seriously. I agree with your Mama. You're beautiful no matter what color your hair is...

Jenn,
I think your hair is fabulously beautiful. The gray makes you distinguished like the rest of the family here in Texas. Plus, you almost qualify to be a lawyer now-what was it the commencement guy said you need 1) glasses, 2) gray hair and 3) hemoroids? Guess you are getting pretty close. Love-Danny :^)

I color my hair because I HAVE to not because I want to!!However, the Bible says that gray hair is a crown of glory - I'm not ready for that kinda glory yet...
