We're slowly digging out of all this snow! The storm has passed us now, so there's no more falling from the sky--let the clean-up begin! They are saying that a lot of roads won't be cleared until mid-week and that folks should plan to be indoors for a few more days. I sure am glad I bought that extra gallon of milk!
To us, all this snow is an absolute blast! Yes, it's a bit of an inconvenience. Yes, it takes a lot of work to move all this snow. Yes, we will eventually feel a little bit of cabin fever. But, we are so thankful that the Lord has provided these days for us to make valuable family memories together. That is priceless.
Here's a look at what we did this afternoon. I have some more pictures to post a little later once the kiddos are in bed. Be sure to check back.
Those of you in Georgia, I wish I could transport y'all up here right now so you could see this! You just wouldn't believe it!!
The snow plow wasn't cutting it anymore, so they've recruited one of these front loaders to clear out the roads in our neighborhood. 
Watching this thing do its work is a two year old little boy's dream!

The trees began to give way this afternoon.
The view from our porch looking to the left. The fence on the right goes around the pool, which you wouldn't know existed! And, notice how our neighbor's stairs just look like a big slide.
We stopped this neighbor to take a picture of her big Rottweiler walking in the snow. It was all that big dog could do to get through the deep stuff!
Ty continued to enjoy shoveling the snow while he watched for the snow plows.
