Ms. Bobbie and Mr. Fred are in town to visit us! They also brought along Mr. Fred's sister, Jean. They have been on the road, RVing, since October 5th, and once they leave us, they'll be heading back home. They have always been so good about including us in their trips, and it's always a treat for them to swing through town. It's a good thing that we consider them to be an extra set of parents because we see more of them than we do of our biological families!! It's such a blessing that God has seen fit to include them in our lives.
He said he didn't think he'd be allowed in the door looking any other way! I thought it was hilarious, and Danny did, too. We all had a good laugh and then proceeded to jointly cheer for the Dawgs and the Vols. The Dawgs had a fantastic game, and it was a blast to watch. The Vols, on the other hand, won but were extremely disappointing to watch. I think they had luck on their side because it sure looked over there at the end.
Anyway, we are thrilled to have Ms. Bobbie and Mr. Fred in town. Hopefully, we'll have some fun pictures to share throughout the week.

That hat is hilarious!
I didn't know you had your third set of parents in town. Y'all have a great week.
You better let them spoil you, because soon Mr. T will be here and he'll get all the spoilin'!
Hey honey...need to see some updated belly pics!!!
Love you, KYle
Funny picture! Where is Danny's orange? Only true Vols fans wear orange....
So glad you've got company in town. Please ask Ms. Bobbie and Mr. Fred to bring some rain back with them....
Can't wait to see more pictures!
Hey Jen,
You are so cute pregnant. I love reading your post. Also, like you, I love good barbecue, but my husband refuses to let me buy it from the little shacks, so I improvised and came up with a great recipe, and my husband said it doesn't get any better than this. You would think it had been smoked all day.
Here's the recipe.
Boston Butt Pork Roast
1 bottle of Jack Daniels barbecue sauce.
3 tbsp. of Moores Marinade
Colgins Liquid Smoke - shake about 10 drops onto the roast.
Throw in a crockpot, cook on low all day. After it is cooked, shred like you would regular barbecue, put in a frying pan with Sweet Baby Rays Honey Barbecue Sauce, enough to make it barbecuey.
My friends love this crock pot recipe that I came up with.
Enjoy. Jennifer Elie
