Found Some Monkeys

Video added to end of post

All of the Watson monkeys loaded up and headed out for a trip to the zoo today. The weather was absolutely perfect, in the low 70s, and we had a great time. We had a delicious Mexican lunch at a favorite restaurant before we got to the zoo, and then we walked off that meal, plus a few others, in the several hours we were there.

Tyler was such a blast. He would get so excited when the animals would move around and do things. It's fun to watch him now that he is more interactive with the world around him. By the end of the day, though, he was exhausted. No nap today made for a really tired baby by 5 p.m. I couldn't blame him; I was tired too!

Nana and Ty headed to the zoo

Daddy and Ty outside the Komodo Dragon exhibit

Just delighted with all the brightly colored fish swimming around

I am posting this picture for all of you who don't seem to think I look pregnant. Look at that fat belly!! It's still not an obviously pregnant belly, but I'm sure people think I need to lay off a few meals. Ugh...

This chicken picture is for Papa Joe. It was the weirdest thing I'd ever seen...looked like it was glowing. I hate that the camera didn't do it justice.

I just thought this bird looked so regal.

Tyler was more interested in stealing my nose in the birdhouse than looking at the birds all around his feet. I guess Mama is still a favorite toy!

Ty's favorite part of the whole day...walking through the goat pen.

He was just tickled to be on his feet and out of his stroller. I don't even know if he realized the goats were there.

Oh, my baby is getting so big!

A breakdown began when we picked him up to exit the area. It wasn't pretty.
*Funniest part of the day: Danny and Nana went into a store to buy Ty a present. Ty and I proceeded to wait for them under some trees outside the store. Bad idea. No sooner than we had gotten situated, a bird pooped on Ty's stroller--like, in the part where he was sitting. Thank the Lord it missed his head, but it only missed by inches. I couldn't believe it had happened, but I was in more disbelief that no one was there to see it and all the cameras were in the store with Danny. I SO would have taken a picture. That was one of those moments where you freak out or laugh. So much easier just to laugh!

You STILL don't look pregnant. You look cute, but not pregnant.

Tyler is such a big boy now. I can hardly believe it. Seeing how quickly he has grown makes me even more appreciative of the blogs. I feel like he is growing up right in front of me, which beats growing up without me seeing it happen!

Elaine looks great. As usual! :-)

Thanks for taking the rooster picture. I enjoyed every one. He did a great job of looking at the camera. Do have a great day; you really added joy to my day. I love you all so much. Good luck with the new name. Have you made any progress? Love, Papa Joe

Oh......and in some parts of the world, having a bird poop on your head is considered a sign of the best of luck!

Miss you my friend!
