On Saturday morning, I woke up with a mission in mind: pancakes and a park swing. I don't know what it is about a Saturday morning that makes me want pancakes, but a deluxe breakfast from McDonald's usually does the trick (and Danny's okay with it because I give him almost everything else!). This time, however, I wanted to step it up, so I suggested that we get ourselves ready, have breakfast at IHop, and head over to the city park. Danny was agreeable, so off we went.
After filling our tanks with eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and pancakes (and whatever Danny had), we took Tyler for his very first trip to the park. He was a little wary at first, but then he decided that the park was a great deal of fun, even in its modified-for-a-six-month-old version.
It was a lovely morning and, of course, we took lots of pictures to document the occasion. The day got even better after a trip to the bookstore, a Sonic Coke, and a nap for mommy. I'd say, mission accomplished!

sounds like y'all had a great time...Our parks are nice around here but we haven't gone to them...yet. Always something else to do at home.

I have old eyes, though, and the white on the pretty blue background is almost impossible to read for me :-) I think you had pancakes and went to the park, but I could be wrong.
That last picture is too cute! Absolutely adorable. Cant wait to meet the little man. I know two girls who are going fight for his attention!
