We may not be living in Heaven yet, but we're awful close to it.
I don't think I will ever, ever, ever get over living so close to the beach. It's amazing.
Last night, Danny came home in the mood for some fish and sand. So, that's exactly what we did. We went to The Boardwalk area and ate at Floyd's. We hadn't been there before, but since we are still in the business of trying out all the different places available on the beach AND they had Shrimp Queso on the appetizer menu, we decided to give them a shot. All I'm sayin' is you can't beat All You Can Eat Popcorn Shrimp for $9.95 with a dining view of the ocean. It was fantastic.
Oh, and just like The Crab Trap gave the kids a shovel and bucket keepsake, Floyd's gave them frisbees. I just think those marketing folks ought to get bonuses.
Anyway, we enjoyed our dinner, grabbed our beach bag, and hit the sand. I mean, honestly, I can't get over it. It's like being on vacation every day (except all the sand gets in your car and in your house and in your tub--but that's okay). I just love it.
Love it, love it, love it.
I dare the Air Force to try to move me before Danny's three years here are up.
I may never leave.
