Friday was the most beautiful day we've had yet! The skies were blue, there was a light breeze in the air, and the sun was shining as bright as I've seen it in months. Simply perfect.
We took advantage of the fabulous weather to get the kids outside to burn some energy. We spent the day at Mount Vernon looking at all the animals, petting a lamb, making more animal sounds than I care to admit, and running through the green grass.
We had a blast.
Except for the part where my son tried to run off from me in the parking lot just as a car was driving by. But that's another story.
Today is Saturday. It's even prettier outside today, and we're off to the National Zoo. Panda Bears, here we come!!
Last night, we had a few co-time-outs.
