Yesterday, Tyler and I had the privilege of being guests at Brigadier General Creasy's promotion ceremony. It's not every day that you get to see someone become a General, especially one that's in the JAG Corps. I think it was said yesterday that only one in every two thousand Air Force Officers will ever pin on a star, and not many of those are attorneys. That's pretty telling of how outstanding those who make it are.
It was a beautiful ceremony held at The Officer's Club on base. Tyler was an absolute angel; he was particularly intrigued by all the applause. I even taught him to hold his hand over his heart during the playing of The National Anthem.
Below, you'll see some photos from the day. The ones taken by other people were totally blurry because our camera is about worthless. The one we made with Brig Gen Creasy was the worst, unfortunately, so it won't be shared here. Enjoy!
This was taken right before we left the house. Thanks, Betsy, for the bib!!! It was SO perfect for this event and matched his outfit exactly!
