The Edgett Girls' Visit

Last week was so much fun! My dear friend, Heather Edgett, and her little sister, Kelly, came to visit me here in San Antonio. I met Heather in graduate school at New Mexico State while Danny and I were stationed at Holloman AFB. I spent so many days and nights with Heather and grew to cherish her friendship. We have talked pretty regularly in the two years since we last saw one another, but we always hoped to have a chance to get together while I was still in Louisiana. It just never worked out. Well, when she and Kelly showed up in my driveway, it was like two years had never happened. We never missed a beat!

Heather is one of six children in the Edgett family. Besides Heather, I had met Jenny while she was also at NMSU. This was the first time I met Kelly, and I just love her! She is 18 and just graduated from high school. She is an outstanding young woman, and I look forward to hearing about the amazing things that are going to happen in her life. She is so full of promise!

I have split this post into sections since it would be so long if it were one. This is the intro post to explain what the heck is going on. See the next four posts for pictures of our visit from days one through four. We had so much fun! I hope you can all visit San Antonio soon, too!
