There was lightening and even a little thunder, but the few little drip drops of rain that fell this evening were not near enough to pull south Texas out of one of the worst droughts in the history of the area. They say we'd need a hurricane at this point.
Nonetheless, it was the first rain we'd seen in months. And, Ty was beside himself with excitement. He was absolutely adorable playing in the rain. I'm not sure I've ever seen him express such joy.
He wasn't so adorable, however, when it was time to go inside. We'll just pretend that part didn't happen.
