Almost every day, Lydia comes home from school with a note that has a heart drawn by her name along with several smiley faces indicating how perfect and angelic she has been that day.
Because she's perfect and angelic and I am not at all biased.
Today, however, Danny couldn't get the note in my hands fast enough. First I saw the bright orange circle around the "Note to Parents" section of the report, which read, "Lydia was not using listening ears and was very defiant!"
Then, I saw the frowny faces. Two of them.
And, I noted, there were no hearts.
It's official. She's going to be just. like. me.
Lord, help us.

Yes, Lord help us all.
Don't worry--I just only thought that Addison was as stubborn as a mule, but it turns out, that was nothing compared to what her little brother gives us on a daily basis.
And that sweet Lydie is still perfect and angelic...and I am not biased either!
LOVE this post. So will Lydia one day. Who will love it even more will be her own little girl!
bahahah! So funny..sounds like my two year old...perfect and angelic one minute, then a switch goes off and he turns defiant and cranky...hang in there!
